August 20-21st, 1pm. Kids ages 11-13. The Storefront Project, The Nature of Words’ Literary Arts Center, 224 N.W. Oregon Avenue, Bend. WOW provides creative writing workshops for grade school students and middle schoolers in a Friday-Saturday afternoon format. Each workshop group will create its own story and leave the workshop with a bound copy of the group’s masterpiece. The author/instructors provide ideas and prompts to motivate a collaborative effort.Each two-day workshop costs $25, payable to The Nature of Words, PO Box 56, Bend, OR 97709.
