KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2006, it is time to register for kindergarten classes. Registration at your neighborhood elementary school for the graduating class of 2019 will begin on April 17.

Kindergarten is an integral part of the total educational program of your new student. The kindergarten program is designed to encourage and support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. It provides children with opportunities to develop a positive self-image and the social and cognitive skills necessary for later learning.

The following documents are needed to register your child:
Birth Certificate
Current Immunization Records
Social Security Number

If you are not sure what school your child will be attending, please contact any elementary school, District Office or Transportation Department. Students in the Tom McCall attendance area will register at John Tuck.
