Sonrise Christian School enters it’s next Decade of Academic Excellence with a New Name: Sisters Christian Academy

As we celebrate our 10th year as a school our mission and vision are still the same; to prepare and equip our students with the academic and spiritual foundation to become strong leaders. Our name change reflects our continued commitment to quality education and the strength of our school in the community.

Each of the three words in our new name communicates a great deal about who we are as a school.

Sisters: Communicates our pride in and commitment to our local community and helps better identify our geographic location in the greater Central Oregon area.

Christian: Communicates that we are a school with Jesus Christ as the foundation of all that we do. We teach students to define, support and live out a Christian worldview in step with curriculum and instruction that emphasizes character development and the discernment of moral values.

Academy: Communicates our pursuit of the highest standards of academic excellence through an advanced curriculum. Our commitment to small class sizes provides for outstanding teacher/student interaction and for meeting the needs of individual students. Our highly-qualified, licensed teachers are passionate about instilling a love of life-long learning in our students.

Every child, regardless of their academic, financial or denominational background, is encouraged to apply at Sisters Christian Academy. Need based financial scholarships are available. We offer a Pre-School through 8th Grade program that is dedicated to equipping each student with the skills necessary to achieve the full potential that God intends for them.
