If you are frustrated by the large
class sizes of public education, or are still searching for the
“right fit” in your child’s education, then you need to visit
the Waldorf School of Bend. Investigate this well-rounded, unique
approach to teaching the “whole child” (head, heart, and hands).
This is a hands-on, informative opportunity
for anyone considering an alternative to public education for grades
1 through 8. It is also open to parents of toddlers and those
in early childhood education who are exploring future education options.
This event is a comprehensive showcase
of Waldorf Education. Parents will experience how language, mathematics,
speech, and science curriculum is taught at each grade level.
Witness how Waldorf education also emphasizes art, imagination, and
lively story-telling in a way that allows students to have more processing
time in their learning. Participants can meet some of the instructors
and tour the beautiful 6-acre campus and classrooms of this private,
non-profit school.
The event takes place
on Wednesday, October 18th from 6 to 8:15 p.m.
at the Waldorf School of Bend located at 63175 OB Riley Road in Bend,
Oregon.
